Hello, welcome to my website
My name is Jules Kenworthy and I am a full time Artist from Lytham St Annes in North West England. Having completed a Degree in Scientific Illustration in the 90’s I then pursued a different career in Graphics and advertising, only drawing occasionally for friends and relatives. My two sons were my inspiration to start up drawing again and about 12 years ago I set up my own business and I absolutely love it and now do this full time. I specialise in detailed drawings and paintings of animals, people and pets and I strive for excellence and accuracy in every drawing that I complete. As well as commissions, I also teach at adults Art at local classes run by Colourwheel Fylde Coast, its wonderful to be able to share my passion with others. I also teach at local paint parties too!!
If you’re interested in a portrait of your child, spouse, best friend, pet – I would love to draw one especially for you.
Your portrait will be drawn from photos that you provide (preferably via email). Choose your favourite photo(s) that capture your loved one’s personality and unique qualities! I prefer to have little to no background details, but if you would like something more complicated, contact me and we can discuss.
Also, please keep in mind that the quality of the portrait depends on the quality of the photo. Chances are if you love the photo, it is good enough to use, but you are welcome to email me several photos to discuss which would work best.
I currently have a 4 week waiting list. Once I begin, your drawing will be finished in 1-2 weeks. I will email you images of the drawing while in progress so you may follow along in my process!
Commissions can be paid through Paypal or by bank transfer. You can pay in instalments which can be individually arranged.
